Some great news – and a plea for your help. The River Dee Trust and Fishery Board’s removal of a century-old dam has been shortlisted for a major international award. Opening the Garlogie Dam gave endangered salmon access to miles of tributaries.
The SEPA-funded project boosted biodiversity and had many other benefits. With your help, we could win the Dam Removal Europe Award and funding for future projects. Please take just a minute to vote for our entry. You’ll be helping us to help nature.
Voting closes 22nd March 2024
